Give Your Life

My brother makes vlogs. That's like a blog, but in video form. It's very hard to say, so that's why I typed it instead.

I helped him write a script for this video. I was very impressed with how it turned out.

Proud of you, Joe.

I think that you just coined a phrase, even if it is unpronounceable. Great message in the video. I loved the squeals when the dad tackles the little boy. I have memories of such squeals in my head from long ago playing with my daughter. Wish I could go back and relive those times.

That's my brother and my nephew. He's a great dad. I actually learn a lot from him.
This is great - good job both of you! This reminds me of when our son (now 21) was little and Greg would spend time with him like this, playing chase and tickle games. Our daughter (now 25) loved those games first and would announce to her father when he got home from work, "Let's play chase, tickle and airplane - ALL THESE THINGS!" We still remember her - and our son would join right in. Later Greg and Shawn would play catch in the road and the other day Shawn wrote a text to his Dad reminding him how he was never too busy to "have a catch". They really remember.

I have fond memories of playing catch with my dad.
So cool. You don't know what a difference even a short swim can make. I went swimming with my kids on the night before I had to commute back to town for work, and they told their grandpa it was the best time of their lives. That's what I would say to dads, having learned from my own childhood (and from my mistakes as well), that the little things matter a lot.

Great video!

Thanks, Chad. The little things aren't little. My folks went to every single one of my little league games. I played for 12 years, sometimes 2 seasons in the same year. That's a lot of bleacher sitting!

Cannot hear that reminder enough. Well done. I really liked the bike off to the side when they were on the swings.
