I don't miss college. Or taking tests for professional certifications. Or anything related to school at all.
I come from a family of teachers. Aunts, uncles, grandparents, siblings and my mom - all have taught and served the children. And I believe that the children are our future.
Unlike Tyler Tarver, I would make a horrible teacher. I have no patience, and even less knowledge.
So I thought it would be fun to give a test here on the blog to my many fine reader, singular. No cheating, Mom.

It depends on the subject. I think I could teach in college.
1) b
2) Square toot? Is that like the Gas-X commercial where the lady's son Rip is on line toot?
3) I never learned to read.
I teach grown-ups who have gone back to college, and a lot of teaching simply has to do with who's present. I have some classes where people come eager to learn and improve. Other classes have people who believe they should get a diploma just because they are paying for it.
I try to encourage both groups equally, but at the same time, we're not a diploma mill, and there seems to be a mindset of that out there.
These are trick questions. The answer to each one is "Ask a geek."
The answer is always C.
Bah! Sarge beat me by 2 minutes.
Obviously I'm slightly better than you are at Not Working At Work, Some Guy.
I was on my lunch break.
I hate that I haven't been able to join in on these comments until so late at night since I don't have Internet access until we get back to the apartment after work. You guys are funnier than me. I think I'll just let you lot run the blog.
I'll be back to my normal blogging/tweeting/commenting/emailing schedule next week when I'm finally back in town.
I WAS TOLD THERE WOULD BE NO MORE MATH PROBLEMS ONCE I GRADUATED. This is madness.
I know, I lied. Sorry.
